With deep love and gratitude for her life, the family of Modesta Delgado Isaac announces her peaceful passing at the age of 72.
Born on February 24, 1953, in Mexico City, Mexico, Modesta later made her home in North Carolina, where she built a life centered on faith, family, and love. In her younger years, Modesta served as a police officer showing off her strength, dedication, and resilience. Yet her greatest joy came from what she loved most — caring for her grandchildren. Her home was always filled with laughter, warmth, and the comforting aroma of her delicious cooking. Modesta’s love for the Lord Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life. Her faith was unwavering and shone brightly in the way she cared for others. She had a special gift for making everyone feel seen, valued, and loved — she truly never met a stranger.
She is lovingly remembered by her children Elias Castrejon, Irash Castrejon (wife Angela), and Claudia Castrejon (husband Julian), along with her many beloved grandchildren who were the light of her life. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and faith will live on through all who were blessed to know her. Modesta often shared a heartfelt blessing with those she loved: “May God keep you, God bless you, God protect you and may angels and archangels camp around you.”Though her presence will be deeply missed, her memory will continue to bring comfort, love, and peace to every heart she touched.
