Modesto Antonio "Mode" Viamonte passed away on November 14, 2025, in Tampa, Florida. Born in Pinar del Río, Cuba, on June 14, 1957, Mode's life was shaped by courage, perseverance, and a deep devotion to those he loved. His journey carried him across borders and through chapters of challenge, hope, and triumph - each one defining the man he became.

Mode's presence was steady and reassuring, a quiet but unwavering source of strength for family, friends, and his community. He is remembered with deep affection by his wife, Vilma; his daughter, Elyse; and his grandchildren, Leo, Emma, Catherine, and Lyra - who were the joy of his later years. His legacy also endures through his four siblings, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and unbreakable family ties. Along with his three other siblings but shared love and communication through long distance.

Mode had a generous spirit. Whether helping a loved one, a friend, or someone he barely knew, he showed up with kindness and intention. Service wasn't something he spoke about - it was something he lived.

A celebration of life will be held at Viamonte house, 3008 W Cordelia St Tampa,FL 33607 on 11/29 at 1pm till 4pm to honor his memory and bring together all who were touched by his presence.

His laughter, his strength, and his love remain woven into the lives he leaves behind. May his memory continue to inspire, guide, and bring peace to those who carry it forward.
