February 20, 2025

Moe Potter, age 66, passed away February 20, 2025 at her home. Moe was born June 4, 1958 to the late Rom and Ella Hazel Cornett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Camren Dishman; sister, Jean Rash; and brother-in-law, Bob Rubican.

Moe was known for singing and dancing and making everyone laugh. She enjoyed fishing in her younger days and liked to watch soap operas and the Game Show Network. Moe also liked crafts. She brought joy to all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memories include her sons, Dennis Dishman (Keshia) and Joey Dishman (Tenica); daughter, Lisa Frazier; sisters, Margaret Rubican, Reba Rash (Tony), and Linda Hodge (Marvin); brothers, Lane Cornett, Gary Cornett, Lester Cornett (Faye), and Danny Cornett; grandchildren, Genesis McCartney, Kaleb Dishman, Gavin DuGay, Gabriel Hinkle, Jaxon Dishman, Tristan Dishman, Zyan Dishman, Avery Dishman, Zach Potter, Robbi McConnell, and Patrick Arnold; three great-grandchildren; special friend, Ricky Mericle; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. The graveside service and burial will follow the funeral at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Zyan Dishman, Patrick Arnold, Michael Hodge, Ryan McConnell, Mitchell Hodge, and Ricky Mericle. Honorary pallbearers are Marvin Hodge, Tony Rash, Gabriel Hinkle, and Nate Hodge.

At other times friends and family may visit the home of her sister, Linda Hodge, 347 Dry Stone Branch Road, Mountain City, TN 37683.

Mom I miss you so much I feel so empty and lost without you. Every day feels different knowing that your not here to talk to or to know I can't call you or come see you. I just wish I had more time with you. I will forever carry you in my heart. I love you mom and it's not goodbye it's I'll see you later.
