Mohammad Bahavar Obituary
Mr. Bahavar is survived by a wife, Maryam, Three children: Raymond, Lee and Souzan. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Jillian Herndon, Robert Bahavar, Kristine Bahavar, Cody Bahavar and Neema Alamian and two great grandchildren Kaedan and Sorreia Herndon.
Mohammad is a retired colonel of the Iranian Army. He grew up in Bandar Anzali, the only son of Mohammad Vally and Fatemeh Bahavar. He attended Iran's equivalent of West Point. He retired in 1981 at the rank of full colonel. In 1987, he along with his wife and daughter moved to Oklahoma City where he resided for the rest of his life. He operated a water treatment company in partnership with his sons. His attention to detail was legendary. He took pride in the fact that he always left his customers satisfied.
Services will be held Wednesday, February 10th at 2 pm at Memorial Park Funeral home, and he will be interred in a family plot at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
