Moises Corpuz Arrocena, 86 Years old
Born: August 28, 1939 – Passed: November 18, 2025
Moises Corpuz Arrocena of Hollister, CA, passed away suddenly in San Jose on November 18,
2025, surrounded by the family he loved.
He was born in Sinait, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, on August 28, 1939, to Serapio and Maria Arrocena.
Attended local schools and Sinait High School and went on to the University of the Philippines in
Laoag City, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. With his degree, he was
able to migrate to the USA in 1972, where he worked for Keystone Seed Company.
Moises loved cooking and always made sure that he had food to serve when family and friends
would visit him. Always made sure everyone had a full stomach before leaving the table.
Moises is survived by his wife Angelita; three children and their spouses, Lindbergh (Lydia), Moises
Jr. (Christine) and Maria "Maya" (Guillermo), and 18 grandchildren – Julia, Jasmin, Kimberly,
Reynaldo Jr., Roman, Relly, Mariya, Rana, Malia, Kaia, Marissa, Aja, Makayla, Kiana, Jeremiah,
Jayna, Nehemiah, Giada, and three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Stella, and James.
He is now rejoicing in heaven with his parents, Serapio and Maria, and his sister, Lilia A. Inocelda.
