MOISES GUZMAN
MARCH 12, 1964 - DECEMBER 19, 2024
Moises Guzman, RN, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, after a brief but courageous battle, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born on March 12, 1964, in Mexico City, Mexico, to Jesus Guzman and Catalina Animas.
Moises is survived by his soulmate, best friend, travel partner, and coworker, Jill VanWinkle, as well as his beloved children, of whom he was immensely proud: his daughter, Alexis Guzman Worth, and her husband, Jacob Worth, and his son, Drake Guzman. He is also survived by his siblings: brothers Elias Guzman Animas and Jesus Guzman Animas, and sister Beatriz Guzman Animas.
Moises was known for his exceptional nursing skills, intelligence, sense of humor, and his ability to be the calm in any storm. Above all, he was a present and loving father.
Words cannot capture the depth of loss felt by his family, friends, and coworkers.
Moises made the world a better place and will be remembered fondly.

In 2019 I started a new job at Kindred Northland Hospital. Moises was one of the first nurses I met during orientation. My coworker commented about how great he was to work with and was always most gracious when asked for an up date on a patient. Over the years I was continually impressed with his kindness , courtesy and generosity.
