STOLOFF, Molly Buchan It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Molly Stoloff, age 85, on February 27, 2024, at her home in Pocasset, surrounded by her family. Molly grew up in Belleville, Ontario, Canada and moved to Boston as a young woman to attend college. She married and had four daughters. Molly reveled in her role as mother, bringing creativity and joy to her daughters lives and involving herself in their interests, from serving as Girl scout leader to cooking up sublime desserts fondly remembered by her daughters, to fostering and supporting their many interests. After raising her daughters, she eventually decided to return to school to pursue a bachelor's degree in psychology at Framingham State College, followed by a Master's Degree in Social Work at Boston University. She used her degree serving as a therapist in the Employee Assistance Program at the Polaroid Corporation. She met her husband of 28 years, Murray Stoloff, during this time, marrying him in 1986. They moved to Cape Cod permanently in the mid-1990s, where they enjoyed many wonderful years together. Molly had many passions, from political activism, to traveling, to decorating her home. She was an avid reader, as well as a published author. She enjoyed spending time in nature, staying abreast of current events, going for drives by the beach, and most of all, spending time with her family - especially if it meant a party! One of her favorite places, throughout her life, was Clovelly Point on Lake of Bays, in the Muskoka region of Ontario, Canada, where family members had cottages and cabins. Molly will be profoundly missed by all the many who loved her. She is survived by her four daughters, (spouses/partners in parentheses), Briana (Sal), Melissa, Hillary (Doug) and Rachel (Daniel); by six grandchildren, Timothy and Zachary, Carissa and Madalyn and Livia and Anais. She is also survived by one great-grandchild, Connor. She is also survived by four stepchildren, Ron, Jeff (Freddi), Deborah (Jerry) and Glenn Stoloff (Beth); and by their children, Emma and Ben, Leah & Jonathan and Sarah & Andrew. Services will be held at 2pm, on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Falmouth Jewish Congregation, 7 Hatchville Road, East Falmouth, with Burial to follow at Falmouth Jewish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we suggest people donate to one of Molly's favorite causes, Sylvia Earl's Mission Blue, the Falmouth Service Center or Planned Parenthood. For further information, visit
