Mrs. Mona is survived by her parents; Ronald Earl Simmons of McKenzie, AL, and Myra Kaye Medina of Andalusia, AL; two children; Caden Gates Coleman and Christopher Glen Godwin Jr., both of Andalusia, AL; one brother; Nathaniel Issac Simmons of Starkville, MS, one step-sister; Jackie Medina of Andalusia, AL, two aunts; Susan Simmon Seay of Geneva, AL, and Angela Simmons of Pensacola, FL, two uncles, Jimmy Simmons of Troy, AL, and Adam Simmons of Gulf Breeze, FL, Special Friends; Misty Owens, Pamela Hubacek, Christopher Godwin, and Debbie Ballard, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
