Mona Sidden Haneline, 87, passed away on January 9, 2023 at Trellis Supportive Care in Winston-Salem. She was born in Winston-Salem on January 1, 1936 to James Earl Sidden and Onie Cason Sidden. Mona graduated from Gray High School and retired from Josten Printing. She loved working out in the garden and yard and freezing and canning vegetables.
In addition to her parents, Mona was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Bennett "Junior" Loftin Haneline, Jr.; daughter, Lou Ann Haneline Crowe; brothers, Richard Arlen Sidden and James Larry Sidden.
She is survived by sons Larry Haneline (Terri) of Ft. Mill, SC and Dwayne Haneline (Robin) of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Brian Ladd Haneline, Tim Haneline, Cason Hunter Treharn, and Christopher Hunter; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Luciann "Susie" Sidden Bauguess (Garvey).
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, January 13 at Salem Funeral Home, 2951 Reynolda Rd., Winston-Salem, NC, 27106. A private service will be held at Forsyth Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Forsyth Humane Society, 4881 Country Club Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27104 or to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Online condolences may be made through www.salemfh.com.
