Monica Renee Garcia, 46, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 25, 2025 surrounded by her family.
Memorial service will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Burial of the urn will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Monica was born June 15, 1978 in San Angelo to Johnny and Leticia Ramirez Garcia. She attended Ft. Concho Elementary, Edison Jr. High and Lake View High School. Monica was blessed to be able to have the title of Mom and raise her son from birth. She was a very funny, loving person who was always the life of the party. You were always sure to find her on any dance floor dancing the night away. Monica loved to clean and always wanted everything to be spotless. She loved to color in her spare time and if you really wanted to put a smile on her face you could give her a tootsie roll pop or a caramel pop, but what put the biggest smile on her face was her family.
She is preceded in death by her mom.
Monica is survived by her dad, Johnny Garcia; her son, Jimmie Nicholas Hernandez from San Antonio; two sisters, Crystal Mendoza and husband Saul from San Angelo; Jessica Garcia from Midland; four brothers, Michael Garcia of Austin, Eric Garcia and wife Monica of San Angelo, Tito Galindo III and wife Desirae of Midland, Nathan L. Garcia and wife Araceli of San Angelo; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
