Monica was born in Cincinnati in 1956 to Anna Pearl Presswood and Charles Shalton. Monica was the 3rd oldest of 13 siblings to whom she loved dearly. Monica attended Taft High School before studying Education at the University of Cincinnati, going to work at Cincinnati Pubic School District as a Special Education Teacher throughout the city.
Monica was preceded in death by her mother Anna Pearl Presswood, her sons Christopher Williams and Charles "Pomkin" Floyd Jr., her brothers Robert Presswood and Gary Shalton, her grandson Trevan Jackson, and is survived by her children Lindana Jackson, Kenneth Jackson, and their children Latavia Jackson, Lillieanna Reynolds, Josiah Jackson, Arieanna Davis, also a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews that she adored.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the Walker Event Center, 3939 Reading Road (Corner of Reading and Paddock), Cincinnati (45229). The memorial service will begin at 11:00 am.
