Monica was a proud alumna of Valdosta State University and a graduate of Westover High School, Class of 1994.
She dedicated herself to serving the sickle cell community as the Founder and Executive Director of SWGA Sickle Cell Awareness, an organization based in Georgia. Her efforts extended globally, offering vital resources to families affected by sickle cell disease. Monica fostered partnerships with medical, pharmaceutical, educational, and governmental entities, as well as nonprofit organizations, to expand support networks.
