I am deeply saddened by the passing of Monique, affectionately known for her outspokenness. We have known each other since the 3rd grade at Schultz Elementary School, where a lifelong friendship first began. As children, we spent countless days together - visiting each other´s homes, enjoying the outdoors, and creating memories that would quietly shape our lives.

Although adulthood took us in different directions, we never lost touch. Recently, we reconnected in a very special way, spending hours on the phone and discovering that we had even more in common growing up than we ever realized. It felt like time had gently brought our friendship full circle.

Her passing is a complete shock, especially as we were making plans to connect when I returned to Michigan in relation to my food truck business. I was looking forward to that reunion - one more chance to laugh, reminisce, and simply enjoy each other´s presence.

Monique was truly a Queen, and her absence will be deeply felt. I will forever cherish the bond we shared and the memories that began in childhood and carried into adulthood.

My heartfelt prayers and condolences go out to her family and all who loved her. May she rest peacefully, and may her memory continue to shine in the hearts of everyone she touched.
