Monique Chantae Wright

Monique Chantae Wright, age 34, was born into this world on December 2, 1987, to Peggy Ann Wright
(Stanley Fyall) and Thomas Hovington (Sherry Hovington). She was born at PRMC, Salisbury, Maryland.
On Saturday, November 19, 2022, God saw fit to call her to eternal rest.
Monique received her formal education in the Wicomico County Public School System. In 2005 she
graduated from Wicomico Senior High School. She received a Certificate for Dental Hygienist from Wor-
Wic Community College. Monique has always been a dedicated employee and has held several
positions throughout the years, with the last 12 years employed by Panera Bread as a Trainer. She was a
member of Mt. Enoch Holy Church. Monique's greatest joy was her children and she loved spending
time with her family and friends. Monique was known by all who loved as an avid internet shopper.
Monique was also a great cook, her Chilli was the best. Monique had a beautiful smile, that would touch
your heart and brighten any room.
In addition to her parents, Monique is survived by: two daughters, Mahkayla Purnell and Trinity
Johnson; one son, Maasai Johnson; two brothers, Jordyn Fyall and Kenneth Hovington; two sisters,
Eyana Nichols and Tearra Corbin. Maternal grandmother Sarah Polk; Uncle Calvin Polk and four Aunts,
Valerie Cottman, Tomeka Teagle, Jennifer Spence and Kimberly Bivens. Special god sister Tykira Joynes,
Special cousins Charles Birdell, Daisha Cottman, Dominque Cottman and Jonathan Brisco. She also leave
to cherish her memory god daughter Aubrey Goslee, and host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, friends and
Panera work family.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Jonathan Wright, Step Grandmother Edna Wright
and Paternal grandparents Stanford Hovington and Grace Fountain.
Monique will forever be etched in our hearts, lovingly remembered and sorely missed.
