Although i have not seen Monte in many years, i will never forget trying to navigate high school, making friends and having good times with him. I am glad we got to share some time together.

A few years ago, I met up with Monte at the VA medical center. By chance, he ended up in my office asking for directions. Seeing him, an old classmate from 20-plus years prior, was a surprise. He was just as happy and personable as I remember him. Prayers and hugs to his family.

My sincerest condolences to the family. Monte was a friend from high school. My heart goes out to you and prayers to his family during this difficult time.

It is never easy hearing this kind of news about a classmate. Everyone loved hanging out with Monte and had an infectious laugh. Thank you for serving your country honorably. You will be missed.
