Morgan G. Chladek

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Morgan George Chladek, from Claremont, Minnesota. Morgan was a beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend, who left us on August 30th, 2025. He was 59 years old.

Morgan was born on April 25th,1966, in Owatonna, Minnesota to Terrance George Chladek and Carolyn Jean Chladek (Ohrmann) and lived a life full of laughter, adventure, and love. Known for his bright spirit and infectious sense of humor, Morgan could always be counted on to bring joy and positivity to any room he entered. He was a man who loved the simple pleasures of life, whether it was riding his motorcycle, casting a line on a fishing adventure, or most importantly, spending quality time with his family and friends. His love for his children and grandchildren was unwavering, and he took great pride in them all. Morgan spent 20 years in construction before spending the last decade pursuing his passion of helping others through their road to recovery from addiction, as he himself, navigated. He credited his relationship with God through Jesus Christ as the guiding force that led him away from substance abuse and into nearly a decade of sobriety. This transformation was not just personal-Morgan dedicated himself to helping others struggling with substance addiction, offering mentorship, friendship, and hope to those seeking to change their lives.

Morgan was preceded in death by his father, Terrance George Chladek and mother, Carolyn Jean Chladek. Morgan is survived by his six children: Brooke Ranvek of Knoxville, TN, Tani Chladek of Madison, WI, Colton (Emily) Chladek of Zumbrota, MN. Tori Chladek of Kasson, MN, Taran Busby of Kasson, MN, and Nolan Chladek of St. Charles, MN; 14 grandchildren: Alexis, Alyssa, Ashton, Kalia, Tayen, Elijah, Kerrigan, Kendricks, Harlem, Thaiya, Kambryn, Raya, Remi, and Paris; one great grandchild, Zaylen; sisters, Caryn Iacovino (John) of Owatonna, MN and Lynnette Petersen of Owatonna, MN; and many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association or Valley View Recovery Center in Cannon Falls, MN, something Morgan deeply cared about and supported.

Morgan will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His laughter, generosity, and love will remain in our hearts forever.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Michaelson funeral Home in Owatonna. A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
