Morris Coltrane Obituary
April 11, 1960 - February 18, 2025
Mr. Morris Eugene Coltrane, 64, of Greensboro, passed away on Feb. 18, 2025, under the care of White Oak Manor in Burlington, North Carolina. Born in Greensboro, N.C., he was the son of the late Robert and Fleta (Chrismon) Coltrane.
Morris is survived by his sister and her husband, Lisa and Jeff Huffman; and nephews, Sam and Carter of Greensboro.
Morris was a beloved Brother and Uncle. His gentle and kind spirit showed through as he always helped others. His happiest place was being outdoors, hunting and fishing growing up, tending to his flowers, and sitting outside enjoying the beauty of God's creation. Morris was so proud of his nephews and being called "Uncle Morris."
Our sincere appreciation is expressed to the staff of White Oak Manor of Burlington for their excellent care during his stay.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Apple's Chapel Cemetery, 7345 NC 61 N, Gibsonville, N.C. 27249, on Feb. 22, 2025, at 10 a.m., with Pastor Phil Hulen officiating.

We knew Morris when he was living at Eklund. A gentle, friendly man. We also visited him at Brookdale. So sorry to hear of his passing. Our condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.

I met morris at brookdale when my dad was there . Morris was always so friendly i enjoyed talking to him . He was a sweet soul .

I met Morris while caretaking for my mom at Brookdale on Lawndale in GSO a few years ago. Morris took care of several lovely plants and flowers there, keeping them watered. He always had a smile & brightened everyone´s day. R.I.P.

I remember Morris from when I worked with him at a retirement home in Greensboto many years ago. He was always a hard working individual. I'm sorry to hear about his passing
