Morris "Maurice" Gallow has gone to be in Heaven on February 5, 2025, at the age of 74.
On January 18th and 19th, 1951, Alton and Lillian Gallow became proud parents to a set of twin boys Morris and Norris Gallow. The Gallow twins were born in a small town called Ville Platte. It’s near Lafayette and New Orleans, Louisiana.
After growing up there, the Gallow twins physically lived their adult life in separate geographic locations but always emotionally and mentally connected. Morris, also known as Maurice, lived his life in Fort Worth, Texas. He frequently visited his family and friends back home in Louisiana, South Texas, and California. Throughout Maurice life, he was a hard worker. As a construction contractor for companies and individuals, he estimated, measured, and poured concrete like no other! He had help with his close lifetime friends Ben, Joseph, and Jacob. He also knew how to fix a lot of things on vehicles and don’t miss him on auto mechanic work and home maintenance such as painting and flooring.
His siblings: Emery Gallow, Sr., Jerry, Judy, Mary Jane, Rosa, and J.L. Gallow preceded him. His twin brother Norris preceded him July 28th, 2022, his sister Louanna Gallow recently passed in 2024. Geneva, another sister, just passed Friday February 7th, 2025. He had a son that preceded him over 10 years ago named Ricky Jack.
He leaves a sister-in-law, Pearlie Mae (Emery) in Port Arthur, Tx.
His daughter Tacara and her 4 daughters are here to cherish the memories of his life. He dutifully loved and raised 2 children from preschool to high school and was there for them throughout their adulthood, Curtis “Guy” Rice (Tiffany) and Sheree Dogan.
He also leaves to cherish honorary daughter, Scemeka (Scooter) and granddaughter, Latajisia (Buddha) and more.
May all of the Gallow nieces, nephews, cousins, many more extended family members, and his good longtime neighbors and friends forever remember him with joy and peace.
Moreover, He leaves lots of love for Michelle Washington and her family. They were in a long-term devoted relationship.
