Morris L. Safer, 89, of Neosho, originally of Watertown, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025, at Alden Estates in Jefferson.
Morris was born on December 5, 1935, in Milwaukee, the son of Mendel and Belle (Rotman) Safer. He was the owner/operator of a liquor store for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed painting, playing BINGO and many other games, reading, traveling and watching movies. He was an avid Wisconsin sports fan, and loved academics, he was a lifetime learner. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Morris is survived by his daughter Terri (Ed) Mead, grandchildren Martin Fetter, Paige (Eric) Vecchione, Somer (Cody Mitchem) Beaudoin, great-grandchildren Kya, Emmy, Alana, Lela, and his brother Mickey Safer. He is further survived by other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Danny and Jerry.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
