Lynn Stacy was born on May 3, 1953, in Tupelo, Mississippi. A resident of Oakland, Tennessee, Lynn passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis and went home to his Lord and Savior on January 4, 2026.
Lynn was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. Known for his immense kindness, deep faith, and wonderful sense of humor, he was also an avid fan of fishing, college sports, and Little League baseball.
A graduate of North Pontotoc High School, Lynn served in the United States Army from 1974 to 1977 as a Long Range Communications Specialist and was honorably discharged. He spent his career in over-the-road trucking, route sales, and warehouse management, retiring in December 2019. He is survived by his wife, Denise Stacy; daughter, Cathie Anne Stacy-Raburn (Stephen); granddaughter, Elyse Raburn; brothers, Larry (Janet) and Eddie (Susan); and sister, Kathy Hall (Chuck). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, one great-great-niece, and a multitude of extended family and friends, including Ken (like a brother) and Jane Miles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Elise Stacy.
Services will be held at Peebles West Funeral Chapel in Oakland, TN, with interment to follow at Bartlett-Ellendale Cemetery. Pastor Paul Dacus of The Refuge Church will officiate. Pallbearers include Kevin Stacy, Kenny Stacy, Zach Hall, Bryson Stacy, Collin Culp, and Jake Culp. Bart Payne will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable donations be made to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital.
