A graveside service will be held at Exeter District Cemetery on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 10:00am. A celebration of life will follow at Whitney's Wild Oak Ranch in Exeter.

Obituary:
Morris Alvin Stephens was lovingly welcomed into this world on June 11, 1934 to Alvin and Lillie Stephens in Omaha, Texas. At the age of 10, the family moved from Texas to California. Morris attended Farmersville schools and graduated from Exeter Union High School in 1952. Over the years Morris worked at Cantrels Market, Nickels Payless, Knudsens Creamery, and Real Fresh Inc. He retired at the age of 55 as a proud, 30 year member of Teamsters Local Union #517. After retirement he spent his time with family and friends, between his homes in Mt. Ida, Arkansas and Exeter, California. Morris loved to go fishing and go antiquing. On October 4, 2022 at the age of 88, Morris was welcomed into heaven with a wonderful reunion. He was reunited with his father, mother, brothers Farris and Tommy Stephens, sister Jean Razor, son Dean Stephens, daughter Gaylynne Stephens, grandson Landon Stephens, and granddaughter Aleisha Stephens. He will be deeply missed by his son Rick Stephens (Carrie Sue), daughter Julie Reynolds (Mitch), grandchildren Jarrad, Amber, Cheyenne, Jeff, Erin, Clayton, Taylor, Savannah, Zach, and Madeleine, 15 great grand children, 1 great great grandchild, as well as many other family members and friends. You will be in our hearts forever Dad, Uncle Morris, Grandpa, Grumpy. Our family would like to thank Barbara and staff at The Manor House in Exeter, for their care over the last 5 years. Morris was thankful to have formed many wonderful friendships there.
