Anthony (Buddy) Lewis Addison, Sr., passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. He was born on March 18, 1961, in Cuthbert, Georgia, to the late Polly and Icyvene Addison.
Buddy is survived by his four children: Josh Mitchell of North Carolina; Anthony Addison, Jr. of Morgan, GA; Bryan Addison of Morgan, GA; and Kaddie (Kathie) Addison of Shellman, GA. He is also survived by his brothers, George "Hardrock" Addison of Cuthbert, GA, and Tom Addison of Florida; and by his sisters, Clara Moore and Hallie Addison, both of Cuthbert, GA, and Jane Smith of Mississippi.
A graduate of Sparks Technical College in Eufaula, AL, Buddy studied woodworking and went on to teach in a woodworking shop. He later established his own woodworking business, serving the Randolph County area with dedication and craftsmanship.
A memorial service will be held at EastView Cemetery in Cuthbert, GA, near the graves of Polly and Icyvene Addison, on June 21, 2025. The time will be announced by the family at a later date.
Buddy will be remembered for his warm spirit, skilled hands, and devotion to his family and community
