Mr. Ephraum LaVelle Franklin, 67, of Greenville, husband of Tomasa Quiles Franklin, transitioned on Monday February 2, 2026 at the Medical University in Charleston SC. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Otis and Doris Jones Franklin.
Surviving in addition to his wife: five daughters, Tawana (Tim) Gordon of Greenville, SC, Cristina (Joseph) Sims of Simpsonville, SC, Aliya Quiles Merced, Amiyna Merced both of Greenville, SC and Latoya Williams (Stanley) Sanders of Greenville, SC; six sons, Kevin (Amy) Franklin of Georgia, Tim Franklin of Louisville, Walter (Lashun) Franklin, Crispin Jones , Rafi-Diyn (Antonia) Merced and Emmanuel Quiles-Merced all of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Cynthia Franklin Young and Jennifer Farmer of Greenville, SC; one brother, Calvin (Joan) Franklin of Greenville, SC; seventeen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Monday, February 16, 2026,1:30pm at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment in Graceland East Memorial Park.
