Jasmond Duran Hunter, 39, passed away on April 26, 2025. He was born on October 01, 1985, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Robert Hunter Jr. and Rosalyn A. Carter.
Jasmond attended Harcourt Elementary, Northview Middle School and North Central High School, completing his education in 2003. Jasmond earned a certificate in New Media – Photoshop from J. Everett Light Career Center, where he applied his education and creative skills to design CD cover labels, T-shirts, and created beats while collaborating with various artists.
Jasmond worked as a Semi- truck Driver with Hogan, Prime Inc. and Indiana Lubricant Transport LLC, ending as a successful business owner of Hunter’s Hauling LLC.
Jasmond leaves to cherish his memory; sons, Axian Duran Hunter, Alijah Caleb Hunter, daughters, Asia Renee Hunter, Jasmyn Nashay Hunter, and his bonus daughter, Lyric Elise Cole, father’s, Robert E. Hunter Jr., Timothy L. Carter Sr., mother, Rosalyn A. Carter, brothers, Caleb Joel Hunter, Timothy L. Carter Jr. (Crystal), Reginald L. Carter (Kaitlyn), Lynnis O. Crenshaw (Lorena), Matthias L. Jones, sister; Shaunte D. Carter (Kenny), as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles and many great friends.
Jasmond was preceded in death by her his biological grandfather, Floyd P. Wooten, grandfather, Kenneth Franklin Dunville Jr, grandmother, Barbara Lee Dunville, uncle, Kenneth Franklin Dunville III.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 10-12 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd West Drive. A funeral service will follow at noon. Please feel free to share a memory or condolence of Jasmond (Jas) at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
