Mr. Ralph Alonzo Perry, age 93, of Statham, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 9, 2026, at his residence.
Alonzo retired from the Georgia National Guard. He was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.
Mr. Perry was preceded in death by his parents; Carse Perry and Eula Davis Perry; and siblings, Jerry Perry, Helen Stapp, Pete Perry, Bill Perry, and Hazel Seagraves.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joan Craft Perry of Statham; daughter, Kathy (Robert) Stamey of Oxford; son, Bobby (LeRue) Perry of Statham; four grandchildren, Christina (Adam) Leazer, Theresa Jo Perry, Vadeem Stamey, and Maggie (Billy) Mauldin; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 12, 2026 in the Chapel of Maddox Memorial Home with Rev. Robert Stamey officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery in Statham. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 11, 2026 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Maddox Memorial Home.
Flowers are accepted for the funeral service of Mr. Perry.
Maddox Memorial Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
