Mrs. Anita Allen Jones, of Winder, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed on January 27th, 2025 at the age of 84, at her residence.
Born in Medina, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Lucille Allen. She spent her life creating a warm and loving home for her family. Her greatest joy was caring for those she loved, and her home was always a haven filled with laughter, delicious meals, and cherished memories.
She was a woman of quiet strength, boundless kindness, and unshakable faith. Her love and selflessness left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a member of Liberty Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Wayne Jones. She is survived by her children, David Jones (Kelly), Bryan Jones (Donna), Kristin Williams (Robby); Brother, Rodney Allen; Grandchildren, Ryan, Allison, Amber (Brooks), Ashley, Madison, Briggs (Natalie), Evan, Kinley; Great Grandchild, Tatum; and soon-to-be Great Granddaughter, Eloise.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2025 in the Chapel of Maddox-Carter Memorial Home with Rev. Ken Easley officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Maddox-Carter Memorial Home.
A brief graveside service and burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 7, 2025 at The Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and reunited with Wayne in heaven. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in our hearts.
