Obituary

Beulah Mae Sneed was born in Stilson, GA on May 18, 1943.  She was one of eight children born to the late Ellie and Millie Holt.  Beulah was educated in the public-school system of Bulloch County and graduated from Williams James High School.

Early in life, Beulah joined Hutchinson Longstreet Baptist Church in Brooklet GA, which planted the seed of faith which grew and sustained her throughout her life.  She later became a member of New Hope Church of God in Christ in Statesboro GA.  She was a faithful member and served as the Church Mother, Sunday School Superintendent and Teacher for the youths.

Beulah was joined in a loving and devoted marriage to Mr. Roscoe Sneed on September 21, 1961.  To that union, four children were born.  Dewayne, Carl, Alissa and Karen.

Beulah was known affectionately as: Mom, Momma Rock and Tribal Chief.  But people just called her…. Grandma!

Beulah moved to Savannah, GA with her family in 1973 and worked as a passionate seamstress and upholster.  She worked at Phillips Drapery and Upholstery Shop for 20+ years.  But her passion in life was her devotion to God and her family and friends.
