Charlotte Cassandra Shorter Strawder was born the only child of Floyd and Magdelane Lowe Shorter on Thursday, November 24, 1955, in Albany, Georgia.
She leaves to cherish her memories and lament her legacy her endearing Husband Pastor Cecil Strawder. Her love and precious memories will be forever cherished by her loving and devoted children Charles Allen Ellis II of San Deigo, California and Cannice Carlena Ellis of Palm Harbor, Florida; her beloved grandchildren Cjambrika Ellis, Lydia Ellis, Charlese Kirk (Jon), Asia Ellis, Quoi Ellis, Karis Ellis and Iyla Wilson; her beloved great-grands Aaniyah, Kiannah, Nikeah, Roman, Harmony, Jalese, Jamier, Charli, Ayla; her special friend/God sister Evelyn Bryant (Wilbert); her uncles, Frasier Farrier and James Lowe (Louise); aunts, Dorthy Jones (Willie), Elizabeth Lowe, and Patricia Lowe; her special cousins, Samantha Jones, and Merle Guilford (Horice); her sisters in law, Frances Beeks, Queen Thomas (Kenneth), Myralean Boone, Lillie McIntyre, Maxine Williams, and Edna Harris; brothers in law, Rickey Strawder and Kenneth Ford; her God children, Courtney Hillery (Pastor Nicholos), Noitavia Fitzs (Bobby), Jeffrey Newberry, Rev. Ray Drew, Jr., Elder Trey Searles (Jineitra), Jamarous Highman, Jackie Marshall, Willie B. Porter, and Pastor James Harris (Carlisa); special friends, Angel Daniels (Terry), Mytrice Williams (Earnest), Ruth Haynes (John), Co-Pastor Peggy Hill (Pastor Michael), Elder Cynthia Smith, and Freddie Anderson; her beloved Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church Family; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
