Mrs. Ealine Thomas Peppers, age 83, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Peppers was a dedicated member of Eastside Baptist Church. She retired as a seamstress from Empire Manufacturing Plant. Ealine will be remembered best as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her family was her pride and joy.
Ealine was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Thomas and Lessie Nunnally Thomas; son, James T. Peppers, Jr.; and her siblings, Muraline Peppers, Mary Lee Thomas, Billy Thomas, Leonard Thomas, and Albert Thomas.
She is survived by her loving husband of sixty-four years, James T. Peppers Sr. of Bethlehem; daughter, Brenda Peppers of Bethlehem; five grandchildren, Justin Peppers, Jennifer Addison, Alicia Duncan, Lee Duncan, and Britney Peppers; eight great-grandchildren, Abby, Dylan, Jayce, Braxton, Avayah, Kaiden, Kailan, and Daeman; and one great-great-grandchild, Elijah.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 in the Chapel of Maddox Memorial Home with Rev. Darell Gilmer officiating. Burial will follow the service at Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00 PM until the service hour at Maddox Memorial Home.
Flowers are accepted for the funeral service of Mrs. Peppers.
Maddox Memorial Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
