Mrs. Jimmie Nell Scales, Age 84, Nashville, transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Thursday, January 11, 2024.
Jimmie was preceded in death by her son, Steven Antonio Scales; her husband of fifty-seven years, Joseph Samuel Scales, and siblings, Charles Truett, Doris Baker, and Shirley Mitchell.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Samuel (Glenda) Scales, Miriam (Robert) Taylor, Linda (Steven ) Duke-Scales; grandchildren, Latoya Taylor, Latonya (Bree) Taylor, Juamane Scales, Christopher (Dashika) Scales, Brandon (Shamika) Scales, Tonya (Kenneth) Rankins, Trevonda Tusie, Patrick (Quiana) Scales, Jermaine (Chiquita) Scales, Michelle Scales, Michael Scales; eleven great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; siblings, Lavell Eubanks, Azell Truett Jr; in-laws, Julius (Shirley) Mitchell, Tyrone (Doris) Baker, Lena (Charles) Truett, Ann (Charles) Spriggs, Philip (Candance) Scales, Janet Scales-Gibson and a host of niece, nephews, cousins, and a great friend Benny Doty.
