Ms. Mary E. Thompkins, 70, of Greenville, transitioned on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Claude Ware and Lucille Mahoney.
Surviving: three daughters, Shena (Devon) Ware, Michelle (Kenny) Harris, and Cassandra Brown, all of Greenville, SC; two sons, Tyquan Ware and Michael (Kim) Ware, all of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Betty (T.K.) Kerns, and Barbara Ware, both of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Pastor John (Dr. Felecia Williams), Winston Salem, NC; and Kenny Ware, of Greenville, SC; sixteen grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
