Adams announced of the passing of Ms. Patricia Kendricks Ellington, 70, who transitioned on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 17, 2024 in The Adams Chapel.

Patricia K. Ellington., lovingly known as Pat, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10:44p.m.
In life Pat was passionate about caring for all beings. Especially when it came to four legged furry friends. Always keeping her back porch open to any strays in need. She was always compelled to help others and to be in their life the best she could whether it simply meant listening, providing advice, or enjoying the company to those in the community, her neighbors, friends, and family.
Avid seeker of knowledge and desire to be of current times she spent most of her time watching and reading what was going on in the world. In her spare time Pat loved to go out in the community and “people watch”. She was always thinking ahead of the next step to take towards freedom pursuits in life whether it being financial or spiritual wisdom.
Born sixth out of seven children in north Georgia to the late Mae and John Kendricks. Wife to the late William D. Ellington. Mother to Bambi M. Kendricks. Grandmother to Dynaha N. Jenkins. Great Friend to Pam & Joe and of late Shell & John.
Overall Patricia was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend. She is immensely loved and will be deeply missed to all that knew her.
