Mr. Gordon Lynn Reddick, 77, of Guyton, GA and husband of Mrs. Maree Ann Busby Reddick, died Wednesday evening December 31, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Statesboro, Georgia, he was the son of the late Mr. Roney Rudolph Reddick and the late Mrs. Edna Lois Highsmith Reddick. After graduating Groves High School, class of 1966, he entered the United States Air Force. Gordon served with the 165th Air National Guard as a Master Sergeant. He was also a Mason at the Frank F. Baker Lodge in Garden City, GA.
Gordon loved anything to do with hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He enjoyed hunting deer, hogs and turkeys. He enjoyed fishing fresh and saltwater. Gordon enjoyed fishing from the steel bridge in the Ogeechee River. The thing he cherished the most was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Edna Lois Highsmith Reddick Warren and her husband W. L. Warren, and his father, Mr. Roney Rudolph Reddick and his wife Mrs. Helen Reddick.
Those who will cherish his memory are his wife of 44 years, Mrs. Maree Ann Busby Reddick; sons and daughters-in-law, Nicholas Watson & Cat Reddick of Guyton, GA and Jason Wayne & Robin Reddick of Waynesboro, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Veronica & Gene Hinely of Rincon, GA and Linda & Tony NeSmith of Sardis, GA ; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bruce & Cathy Wilds of Meldrim, GA and Larry & Sherrie Lynn of Dallas, TX; along with 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon, January 5, 2026, at Hillcrest Abbey West in Garden City, GA conducted by Brother Leonard Daugherty.
