Pinky and Dad (Bob Conrad) met when they were teenagers and the shenanigans began. They were there for each other when they married their lifelong brides. Through careers and kids (heaven help the boyfriend who wandered into their lair!) and all that life brings, the friendship these two shared was truly rare.
Every time we saw Pinky after dad passed he would say, "Boy, I sure miss ol' Bob." It wouldn't surprise me that Dad was waiting for Pinky at the Pearly Gates. I shutter to think of the high jinks they're up to already...only those two could raise a little hell in heaven!
Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel for you and your family, so may God be with you and give you comfort. Nothing will ever take away our memories. May your memories be ones that give you comfort and reminders of happier times.
With love,
The Conrad Family
P.S. And, yes, Pinky you always were too handsome for your height.

Dear Joyce and family, I still cannot believe Pinky is no longer with us. I had hoped he would live another 100 years! He was my friend and Chevy mentor for 25 years. I wish I had met him years before. Hard to imagine there was a kinder, more passionate gentleman in the antique car hobby. He and his dear friend Wayne McKinley who proceeded him in passing just a year ago were my idols. I am wishing you all the comfort there is at this difficult time. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Ray
