Murray Carl Milton Sr.

Murray C. Milton Sr. of Old Town Alexandria, Virginia passed away at home on Friday, January 30, 2026, at the age of 92. Murray Sr. was the son of the late Bender Carl Milton and Elsie Mae (Phillips) Milton. He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years and high school sweetheart, Barbara J. Milton; son, Murray Milton Jr; daughter, Karen Ross; daughter-in-law, Susan Milton; son-in-law, Ken Ross; granddaughter, Devin Watson and husband Wendell Watson; grandsons Derek Milton, Blake Ross, Connor Ross, Andrew Ross, and great-grandsons Wendell Watson and Logan Watson. Mr. Milton was preceded in death by his son, Keith Milton.

Mr. Milton, also known as "Punkie" to friends and family, enjoyed cars, camping, boating, fishing, and traveling with Barbara and family. His family meant the world to him and he will truly be missed by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5755 Castlewellan Drive, Alexandria, Virginia on Monday, February 9, 2026. A viewing will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. with a funeral service immediately following from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be at Mount Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria, Virginia. Due to ground conditions at the cemetery, the family is unable to invite guests to a graveside ceremony. Therefore, the graveside cemetery service will be for immediate family only.
