Mylan Radulovich

I´m sorry to see of Mylan´s passing; we were friends at the laser lab at the University of Minnesota. We shared a graduate advisor, an office that overlooked the Gopher football practice field, a love of Duluth and Lake Superior, his wry sense of humor, and driving out to find the best hamburgers near the campus.

I came looking for him today to thank him somewhat belatedly for a call he made to me in 1970. There was an ad in the paper for a job, and possibly a good career start, at a new company out in Hutchinson. He tipped me off and he was right about the fit. I will always be thankful for his friendship, and that he pointed me in the right direction at a critical time in my life.
