She will await the resurrection in Rose Hill Cemetery (944 W. Main Street) in New Iberia, LA.
The visitation will be held at Fletcher Funeral Home on Saturday, January 31, 2026, beginning at 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
Mrs. Myra Faye Fusilier Davis was a resident of Lafayette, LA. She departed this life on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 7:12 P.M. at her residence.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 44 years, Lawrence Davis Jr. of Lafayette, LA; one son, Lawrence Davis III (Llmira) of New Iberia, LA; two daughters, Ebonie Alexander (Gerard) and Brittney Davis (David) of New Iberia, LA; five brothers, Alonzo Fusilier (Janice) of Houston, TX, Michael Douglas of Corpus Christ, TX, Aaron Fusilier Jr. (Tamela) of Humble, TX, Kenneth Douglas of Corpus Christi, TX and Terry Fusilier of New Iberia, LA; one sister, Stephanie Iszard of Baltimore, MD; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron and Phyllis Blackshear Fusilier; one brother, Thomas Douglas; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lawrence Davis Sr. and Egursia Davis; two brothers-in-law, Fred Patt and Robert August.
Active Pallbearers are Gerard Alexander Jr., Paul Arthur, Brandon Davis, Bryson Davis, Jason Davis, and Trey Vital.
Honorary Pallbearers are Gerard Alexander Sr., Courtney Davis, Aron Fusilier, Jamahl Grubbs Jr., and David White.

To My Sweet Humble Sister Myra, whose favorite words were "I´m good" ...( Yes You are Good) You Are Good Now Up In Heaven With Momma Fickie and Daddy Fickie ! We are Truly Missing you down here! When We Meet Again we will have a family reunion and rejoice in our new bodies.

You were such a wonderful older sister to my mom: your little sister, Stephanie. I am glad I was able to talk to you at various points in my life. You were funny, strong, and a wonderful grandmother. My thoughts go out to my cousins and to their children.

To my an amazingly brave sister, I will miss our chit chats on the weekends. You showed me and so many who watch you how to be brave! I truly love you! However, this is not farewell. I will see you in Heaven.
