MYRON LEROY HAUN
May 22, 1936 ˜ June 15, 2023
Myron Leroy Haun, 87, passed away on June 15, 2023. Born May 22, 1936, in Portland, OR. Myron was a good man who cared about his family and country. He had a happy disposition and loved his wife, children, and grandchildren. Myron had a strong interest in the Bible and lived his life following Christian beliefs.
Myron is survived by his daughters, Jodi A. Williams and Robin L. Haun-Mohamed (Ibrahim); his sister, Marcia E. Haun; his grandchildren, a great-grandson, and nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry M. Haun; his mother, Mary Emma Haun (Hackett); his brother, Marvin A. Haun; his wife, Regis A. Haun; his son, Loren D. Haun; and his daughter, Christine A. Haun.
An early implementer of Data Processing systems in hospitals, he worked for SW Washington Hospital before retiring. Myron and Regis also owned Rainy Day Stamps and Covers. He collected baseball memorabilia and was a big Trail Blazer fan. Myron loved animals and the family always had a dog and/or cat in the home.
A Celebration of Life event will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Myron’s name to PeaceHealth Hospice, 5400 MacArthur Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98661.

I worked with Myron at Southwest and recall how kind and thoughtful he was as we delt with early IT issues. Sorry to see his passing. My condolences to his family. Nice memories of my work with him.

Myron was a good and kind man. I was lucky enough to work with him at Providence Portland Medical Center many years ago. From the moment I met him, I knew he would be a friend for years. He was smart and competent and had a wonderful disposition. When I was around Myron, I was happy because he was always positive and cheerful. May God rest his loving soul.

Myron was a client of mine when he worked at Salem Hospital and later at St. Joseph's. Always kind and courteous, Myron was truly a gentleman. He was fair to employees and vendors alike and was diligent in ensuring positive results to benefit the healthcare community he served. My sincere condolences to Myron's family and friends. May he rest in peace.
