ODOM ALWAYS BE AT THE FRONT DESK I WOULD ALWAYS TALK WITH HER AND SHE WOULD TELL ME KEEP THAT SMILE GIRL I SMILE AND SAID I WILL AS LONG AS YOU KEEP YOUR SMILE SHE WOULD ALWAYS TELL MIRACLE TO KEEP HER SMILE SHE SAID I SEE WHERE YOU GOT IT FROM YOUR MOMMA MIRACLE COME IN AND HUG HER SHE IS TRULY MISS IT DONT FEEL THE SAME WHEN I WALK IN AND NOT HAVE OUR CONVERSATIONS ANYMORE MY HEART GOSE OUT TO HER FAMILY BECAUSE THE WAY I FEEL I NO THERE HEARTS IS HEAVYER THAN OURS SENDING PRAYERS AND LOVE BECAUSE WE LOVED MS.ODOM VERY MUCH

I will certainly miss our times checking students in, when they came to school late. The love, care and concern that you showed each child, that came through those doors, will always be remembered. To God be the glory for your dedication to education. Yvonne Brooks Pringle!

Please accept my condolences to the family. I knew Myrtle and her daughter many years ago through the school system. She was a well-loved teacher and mentor for many students. Love, Martha Kimes

I first met and fell in love with Mrs. Odom when she served our students at Finch Elementary. She kept us laughing. She then went on to be a "stand-in" auntie, to my youngest son while she worked at Deerwood Elementary. I will miss her super sassyness, words of wisdom and generous heart.

Prayers of comfort to her friends and family

Ms. Odom was a beacon of light to the Russell High School and Tri-Cities high school students. She will be sorely missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family Chante. Karen Underwood
