OAK GROVE, LA - Funeral services for Myrtle Ola (Thomas) Trusty, age 97 of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Beulah Baptist Church in the Beulah Community near Oak Grove.
Reverend Kenny Herring will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Beulah Cemetery near Oak Grove.
Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 PM on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Beulah Baptist Church.
Mrs. Trusty passed into eternal life on Monday, February 16, 2026 at her residence.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Aubry Trusty; father, James Columbus Thomas; mother, Oda Lillian (Howard) Thomas; son, James Howard Trusty; sister, Margie (Thomas) Crain; sister, Carolyn (Thomas) Chapman; brother, Clint Thomas; brother, J. W. Thomas; and brother, Teddy Thomas.
Myrtle is survived by her son, Joseph Wayne Trusty of Oak Grove, Louisiana; sister, Mary Lou (Thomas) Hammett of Oak Grove, Louisiana; grandson, Jason Trusty (Kristen); granddaughter, Sarah Trusty; 6 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Pallbearers are: Joseph Wayne Trusty, Jason Trusty, Jase Trusty, Javen Trusty, Randy Hammett, and Daniel Eldeson.
Honorary Pallbearer is Dennis Crain.
