Everingham, N. Ann
SELKIRK - N. Ann Everingham, age 103, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
Ann was born on August 15, 1921, in Troy, N.Y., to Nellie and George Turner Sr. Her family moved to Selkirk when she was five, and quickly became actively involved in the community. She met and married the love of her life, Frank Everingham, and continued to live in Selkirk until her passing.
Ann was an active member of the Bethlehem Volunteer Ambulance and the Selkirk Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for many years. She was a lifelong member of the Bethlehem Grange, a member of the Eastern Star, PTA, Cub Scout den mother and also helped organize the Bethlehem Sunshine Seniors group. Ann was also a lifelong parishioner of the First Reformed Church of Bethlehem.
Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother; and an inspiration to all who met her. Her strength and dedication to her family, faith and friends carried her through a beautiful life.
In addition to her parents and siblings, Ann was predeceased by her husband, Frank; and her daughter-in-law, Lillian.
Ann is survived by her sons, Wayne and Gene Everingham; granddaughters, Laurie Lambertsen and Tina (Randy) Ross; great-grandchildren, Randy Ross II, Matthew Lambertsen, Krista (Steve) Jackson, Julie (Steven) Whitten and Lindsey Lambertsen; great-great-grandchildren, Sage, Ethan and Sawyer Jackson and Hunter and Lily Whitten.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon), on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the First Reformed Church of Bethlehem, 38 Church Road, Selkirk, N.Y. 12158.
Interment will be at Chestnut Lawn Cemetery in New Baltimore, N.Y.
