Na’Ryah Raye Wright entered this world on October 9, 2010, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She was the beloved daughter of Haley Mae Johnson Simmons; Myesha McCullough (Maternal Figure) father, Brandon Lee Wright Lawrence, Sr.; stepfather, Dante Johnson Simmons; and father figure, Raymond Green, Jr.
A young woman of exceptional grace and spirit, Na’Ryah was set to begin her eighth-grade year at Steelton-Highspire High School. She was an active and vibrant member of her community and school, proudly representing her school as a member of the Steelton-Highspire High School Track and Field team and as a cheerleader.
Na’Ryah was a cherished daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. She brought boundless love and happiness into the lives of her family, who will forever treasure the memories they shared with her.
Na’Ryah transitioned into eternal life on Sunday, August 11, 2024, leaving to celebrate her life her mother, Haley Johnson Simmons; Myesha McCullough (Maternal Figure), father, Brandon Wright Lawrence, Sr.; stepfather, Dante Johnson Simmons; and father figure, Raymond Green, Jr. Her loving life will always be remembered by her siblings, Mylani Wright, Kyani Wright, Brandon Wright, Jr., Di’Mere Johnson Simmons, and Da’Kye Johnson Simmons, all of whom she adored and who adored her in return. Her maternal grandparents, Laura Pryor (Murtiff), Steve Pryor, and Jason McStay; her paternal grandparents, Donna Wright and Charles Lawrence; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, God-siblings, and friends, will all hold her in their hearts forever.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 12:00 noon at Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church 212 N. Progress Ave, Harrisburg, PA 17109. A viewing will be held at the church starting at 11:00 AM before the service. Internment will be private at the request of the family.
