NaDean Boaz Obituary
She was born on August 4, 1937, in Cadiz, KY, to the late Helen Dean Calhoun Taylor and Bartley Taylor. She was formerly employed as an accountant and bookkeeper for Hillside Nursing Home. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Nadean was a member of First Baptist Church in Madisonville and loved being an active member of Young at Heart.
In addition to her parents, NaDean was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Boaz; son, Mark C. Boaz; brother, William Taylor; sister, Betty Taylor Lancaster; one grandson; and one great-granddaughter.
Her survivors include her son, Craig (Stephanie) Boaz of Nashville, TN; daughter-in-law, Cindy Boaz of Madisonville; grandsons, Michael (Holly) Shoulders, Chris (Stephanie) Boaz, and John Boaz; granddaughter, Cassandra Shockley; nine great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Leonard officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in NaDean's memory to Young at Heart, First Baptist Church, 246 North Main Street, Madisonville, KY 42431.
