Nadine Clem Obituary

Nadine H. Clem, 80, of Momence, passed away Jan. 7, 2024, at Ascension Heritage Lodge Assisted Living in Kankakee.

She was born May 2, 1943, in Altamont, the daughter of Martin and Louise Siebert Beccue.

Nadine married Harold R. Clem on Aug. 12, 1967, in Effingham. He preceded her in death Dec. 26, 2018.

Surviving are her two sons and daughter-in-law, Andrew (Dianna) Clem, of Bradley, and Bradley Clem, of Wilmington; two grandchildren, Michael Pescetto and Dominick Pescetto (Mwansa); and three great-grandchildren, Faith Olena, Elias Portillo and Lahana Pescetto.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Elberta Collier and Loretta Henderson; and one granddaughter, Jessica Portillo.

Nadine was an educator and taught at Kankakee Community College.

She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Momence, a member of the Illinois and Kankakee County Retired Teachers Association and the Jayettes.

Nadine enjoyed sewing and crafting and loved gardening and taking care of her flowers.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until noon Monday, Jan. 15, at Cotter Funeral Home in Momence. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Momence, with the Rev. Gregory Brown officiating. Interment will be in Mount Airy Cemetery, Momence.

Memorials may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church in Momence, Leukemia And Lymphoma Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
