I'm so sorry to have rediscovered Nancy this way. We were classmates at Indiana University School of Library Science in1961-2 and rode together many times to Indianapolis. I send greetings and condolences to Nancy's family, with deep regrets that we didn't reconnect long ago.

Dear Delaina,
I am sorry you lost your mother. She was a lovely person. I have fond memories of playing with you and of seeing your mother at the library. My father died almost three years ago, so I know how it feels to lose a parent. I will be thinking of you.
Sincerely,
Ruth Thomas Wong (your old classmate)

Larry, Kevin, Delaina and Miles, I was so sorry to learn of Nancy's death. I worked with her at the Northeast Branch, learning so much from her. She was a great boss and co-worker. Each day she greeted those who walked into the branch with a smile. I have wonderful memories of the years we spent together. The original Northeast Branch was located in a donated trailer in the Westport Plaza parking lot. Nancy and I laughed many times about using the typewriter located in the branch bathroom. When we moved into a unit in the shopping center we were located next to a bar. We never knew what we would find in our bookdrop.

Dear Larry and Miles,

We have just learned of the sad death of Nancy. We cannot express with words the sadness we feel for loss. Despite the distance, you are always in our thoughts.

We had the privilege of knowing Nancy personally. We remember her as a fine and kind woman who was good humour. She will be sadly missed by us.

Our condolences to you and family. Sending you love.

Your Spanish family Santi and Joey.

Dear Larry and family,

Although I did not have the privilege of knowing Nancy personally, I have no doubt that she was an intelligent and beautiful person - much like her life partner, with whom I worked for many years at B&W.

Sincere sympathy to you, Larry, and all the members of your family. May the support of your family and friends help you through your time of grief.
