Obituary of Nancy B. Anderson

Nancy (Bostrom) Anderson, 88 of Glastonbury passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late Richard Anderson.

Born in Bridgeport, CT, Nancy was the daughter of Carl and Margaret (Geresi) Bostrom.

Nancy worked in the Glastonbury school system for many years as a para professional. She also took care of her home and children and enjoyed her grandmother duties in her later years of life. She was an avid reader and shared her books with anyone she thought would enjoy them.

She was an amazing hostess for the holidays, and enjoyed having family and friends over for dinners and tea parties with a true desire to have meaningful conversations to learn about each person who was a part of her life and make deep connections. Nancy was committed to supporting Richard's UCONN sports teams, as well as being a reliable and enthusiastic spectator at her children's and grandchildren's extra-curricular activities.

Nancy was an active member of South Congregational Church and especially loved the music offered during worship services. She loved caring for others and was a passionate supporter of Hawkwing, a local organization that supports the Cheyenne River Sioux / Lakota Tribe in South Dakota.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard, her parents and her daughter, Kristen Nolan.

Her friends and family will miss her dearly, including her son, Dean R. Anderson and his partner Christine Dugo along with his children and grandchildren Tracy Kerr, her husband Dan Kerr, and their sons Robert and Noah, Lindsay Anderson and her partner Andre Bryant, Rick Anderson, his wife Erin and Brittany Anderson; Steven T. Anderson and his wife, Kadji and their children and grandchildren Ashley Fay, her husband Jason and their children Nathan and Liam, Michael Procaccini and his wife Delaney and their child Evren, Jack Anderson and his wife Rachel; Thomas Nolan, husband of the late Kristen, and their children Scott and James Nolan.

Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to South Congregational Church or www.Hawkwing.org. For online condolences, please visit www.mulryanfh.com.
