Nancy Ann Anthony, age 86, was born in Duncan, Oklahoma, on October 27, 1939 and died September 18, 2025. Nancy is survived by her husband of 65 years, John Shaw Anthony and her two sons, Gregory Shaw Anthony (Carol) and Gary Ross Anthony, and her grandchildren, Heather Nichole (Anthony) Culp, Ashley Michelle (Anthony) Moore, Garrett Shaw Anthony and great-grandchild Remy Christine Culp.

Nancy attended OU and Central Oklahoma University after high school. She and John married March 27, 1960 in Marlow, OK at the 1st Methodist Church. They have been happily married for 65 years.

Nancy worked in several doctors' offices over the years. She became so knowledgeable of medical terms and procedures that John and the boys referred to her, in a playful way, as "Nurse Nancy."

Nancy and John enjoyed traveling, playing Bridge and going to plays and movies. They were annual subscribers and supporters of the Arkansas Rep Theater. They traveled often to see plays. They were members of the American Contract Bridge League and enjoyed games with the club.

Nancy and John supported a number of Charities including the United Way and The American Red Cross. Nancy worked with the Boy Scouts when her sons were active scouts. Nancy lived in several cities during John's working years due to Company transfers. Nancy was a lifetime Methodist. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow, Oklahoma with Rev. TJ Seymour officiating. Burial will follow privately at the Marlow Cemetery.
