Nancy Elizabeth Baker, 87, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Creekside Village in Hagerstown.
Born on November 24, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Paul Jones and Virginia (Ackerman) Jones.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Baker, Sr.; daughter, Nancy O’Brien; son, Sam Baker; sister, Virginia Jones-Geis; and brother, Paul “Eddie” Jones.
Nancy is survived by her sons, Nelson C. Baker II, Jeff Trace (Lynn); daughter, Liz O’Niell; sisters, Bonnie Groves, Linda Navratil, and Teresa Howell; brothers, Robert Jones (Sue) and Glenn Jones; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Interment will be private at East Tennessee State Veteran Cemetery in Knoxville, TN, beside her husband.
