Nancy Bays

BAYS – Nancy (nee Cucci), 88, of Elmwood Park, passed away on Aug. 12, 2012. Born in Delagua, Colorado, Mrs. Bays was raised in Passaic and then Paterson before settling in Elmwood Park where she resided most of her life. Before her retirement, she was employed as a waitress at Pantino's Restaurant in Elmwood Park. Previously, she was employed at Tree Tavern in Paterson and Sam's Maple Grove in Lincoln Park. Nancy was a dedicated fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New York Mets and was a New York Yankees hater. She was predeceased by her parents, Bartolo and Nunziata Cucci; and five brothers, Anthony, Jack, Joseph, Sam and Sal Cucci. Survivors include: many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday 10:30 am at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Entombment to follow. Visiting will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
