Nancy Berdych

Age 87, of Reserve Township, on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Edward Berdych; loving mother of Dave (Jean) Berdych, Bob Berdych, Barb (Greg) Staresinic, Carol (Greg) Heilman; affectionately known as Silly B to her grandchildren Ally, Anna and Tara Staresinic, Brooke, Drew,and Evan Heilman. Nancy is survived by her sister Janet and preceded in death by her brother Larry and sisters Dorothy, Ruth, Mary, and Norma. Nancy enjoyed working as a crossing guard for Reserve Township for many years and she was always ready to help or care for family, friends, and neighbors. Her Catholic faith and St. Aloysius Parish were a huge part of her life. As a founding member and longtime volunteer of the St.Aloysius Rummage House, she was a thrifter before it was popular. She also enjoyed entering friends and family in the Pirate Home Run Hitters Contest and winning local call-in radio contests. After winning four trips to Disney, a room's worth of new furniture, a paddle board, a chef-prepared meal for 20, sporting and concert tickets, countless cases of beer, and other unique prizes we are happy to say that we all enjoyed it too!
